Would gray boots look good with white skinny jeans?

I recently bought a pair of mid-calf gray slouch boots but I only have two pairs of skinny jeans and one of them is a white pair. Do you think the boots will look good with the white skinny jeans tucked into them. What color shirt do you think I would wear with it?
