Do Aquarians and Cancers share a intuitive connection?

Cancer is extremely intuitive, and so is Aquarius. Do these two often stay connected even when they are miles and miles apart and there have been years between them? It just seems like the Aquarians I know are intuitively connected with me and I can feel them even though I haven't seen or talked to one in particular for YEARS. Is there any real astrological basis to this?
