What do you do if your ex wants you back?

we broke after almost datin for a year. he said he felt his feelings were changing.its been a month and he told me he Fd up.a girl like me is a dime a dozen and im everything hes looking for in a girl.hes not expecting me to take him back but just wanted me to know.(he was crying while saying this) he said he was selfish and sorry and can never take back hurting me.but if i did learn to trust him again hed never hurt me like this ever again. and hopefuly we can start slow and take me on a date soon.WTF DO I DO?
