My well-trained dog drank her urine?!?

Sometimes dogs are missing essential vitamins in their diet. She may have smelled those vitamins in her urine. It could also be that she was afraid and tried to clean up the mess. This is something her mother would have done when she was younger. It is an animal instinct. If she continues I would take her to the vets to make sure she doesn't have a urinary track system. That is the only time my dog urinates in the house.
