Got Any Party Ideas??

A friend's little sister or someone wants a good 13th birthay party, their birthday is in December, they don't want it too childish but they want people to turn up. (25-30 people). Apparently they are thinking of having a Hawaiian beach party with gr skirts and limbo games and stuff but they're not sure if people would enjoy it. Any ideas? Thanks (:
