1989 Mercedes 190e Auto, Stalling problems?

After car has warmed up I have a problem with stalling when trying to manoeuvre into tight spaces, As soon as i turn steering wheel, the engine idle speed drops below 550 rpm and stalls. I have tried increasing idle speed , but problem still exists
